Scanning Electron Microscopy

This course is a practical introduction to Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
SEM is one of the most common and frequently used tools in characterization of materials.
The course is designed for beginners and intermediate SEM users and offers.
We offer a hands-on training on electron microscopy with key tips to use in the laboratory.

Duration

The duration of the program is one month. The ACE College for Women will conduct terminal examinations on completion of the course.


Class Timings

Two lectures a week with 02:00 hour duration on every Monday & Wednesday, followed by practice worksheets to utilize the best potential of students.


Student Assessment

Besides regular class discussion, and worksheets one internal/house examination is mandatory to qualify this short course.
